Christmas is coming!

We have had such a busy week at Pre-School, and preparations for Christmas are underway!

Colouring a giant Christmas tree

Thank you  for returning the "All About Me" documents. They make really interesting reading for Key-workers, as they give us an insight into the activities our children are involved in out of school time. Here are some examples:
- Walking on wooden stilts
- Watching the Christmas lights being switched on in Tewkesbury
- Showing an interest in traffic signs
- Going to dance lessons
- Going to Out of the Hat to make Christmas decorations

We are all looking forward to our Christmas trip to Cattle Country. There will be 80 of us going. Thank you to everyone for returning your meal orders.

We have started learning our songs for the Christmas show, and this week we went to the school hall to practice. If Mrs Walker hadn't already been grey, she would have turned grey straight away...it was very funny!

Trying on costumes for the Christmas Concert
We have also started making Christmas cards. The Majors have been printing using their hands to make Santa's face, and the Minors have been making angels.

Next week our Christmas post box will be out, so you can post cards to all your friends. We hope you remember to put the child's full name, as we have lots of children with the same name!

New Play Tower!

Our children came back after the half-term break to find a fantastic new play tower had been installed in the outdoor area. This was purchased using a grant from Summerfield Charitable Trust.

The children were very excited to see the new play equipment and could not wait to have a go!
